Enter through the foyer, where original tile and wood moldings give way to a contemporary, airy Living Room. A bold rug from Margo Selby Studio with linear forms defines the space, which is punctuated by an oversized, deeply comfortable sofa.

An original soapstone fireplace mantel presides over a side of the room, which is hung with artwork sourced from local galleries. Eames’ Turned Stools flank the mantel, as additional seating or side tables. Calming Roman shades temper the sun’s heat at the deep window sills, which are clad with Bianco Missoni marble and dotted with plants.
